People who don't know MGen Palparan well would have the tendency to believe on the lies spread by the communist propaganda portraying him as the worst man living on earth. But for those who knows him personally (whether military personnel or purely civilians) will quickly describe him as an Officer and a Gentleman.
The bastard CPP (Communist Party of the Philippines) founded by sanamagan Jose Maria Sison, a professor at UP Diliman through the intensive support of Ninoy Aquino ( wife of Corazon Aquino and father of Noynoy Aquino both became presidents) had been successful in its propaganda campaigns against MGen Palparan as the BUTCHER (Berdugo). MGen Palparan was successful in his relentless combat operation against the NPA, the military arm of CPP in Samar, Quezon and Mindoro where scores of NPA had been killed and captured. He treated the captured NPAs humanely according to the norms of Geneva Convention.
MGen Palparan was arrested during the tenure of Noynoy Aquino in 2014. Noynoy Aquino had a standing order to the AFP to get MGen Palparan at all cost! No wonder, his father Ninoy was the godfather of NPA when it was organized in Capaz, Tarlac in 1969. Incidentally, Lt Gen Voltaire Gazmin serves as the Secretary of National Defense of Noynoy Aquino. For the record, Ninoy and Cory Aquino were Lt Gen Gazmin's principal sponsors during his military wedding.
I am sure by this time, MGen Palparan is asking himself, "Is this the prize I got for defending our democratic institution against the CPP/NPA whose ultimate goal is to transform our country into a communist state employing a ruthless dogmatic style of leadership?".
The CPP/NPA, Leftist organizations and its sympathizers, as well as rotten politicians in congress (lower and upper houses) are now rejoicing as they are just waiting the right time to take over. And one day when we wakes up from a good sleep, our country is no longer Republic of the Philippines but Communist Philippines with a new flag - red color with hammer and sickle!
"Everything can be resolved through the Barrel of the Gun" - Mao Tse Tung, Chairman of China's Communist Party.
