I Don't Want To Live on This Planet Anymore

“I don’t want to live on this planet anymore”, a popular meme surrounding to social media. It’s pun rebellious expression pertaining to the ironic instances of way of life in this world and nothing to do but to shoutout. But for the 100 candidates including two Filipinas for the one-way ticket to Mars planet, they take it literally.

The Project Mars One aims to set man on Mars has being conceptualize. Few years from now, the first batch of human will send off to Mars that will take 7 months of journey. Their mission is to establish life on this mere lifeless red planet.

Ridiculously, human is trying hard to find and even establish life on Mars but continuously destroying life on Earth. Scientists and explorers are spending billions of money to discover a single drop of water or a tiny sprout of grass or microscopic walking ant on the surface of the Mars planet. But here on our mother Earth however, tons by tons, hectares by hectares of trees and forests are being destroyed in every minute. Poisonous gas, CFCs, nuclear wastes and all farts of industrialization are drastically narrowing our space to live on this earth. Not far distant future, the Earth extinction will come. It will become dead rock hanging onto the solar system. It’s more likely to believe human race will perish not by Armageddon written on Scriptures but by self-destruction. And now, the virgin planet is about to exploit for possible survivors’ refuge. This will be the biggest exodus of human. And what Earth utter to Mars? “Run Mars run, the destructive Earthlings are coming!”

Positively thinking, let’s support the project. The Mars, a whole new world. This is a best starting place for dreamers like John Lennon who once imagining there’s no country and no religion too. The two among the borders in the humanity brought the ultimate disaster to the humankind. These are the hardest wall dividers among us earthlings.

Freethinkers are those who are willing to use their minds without prejudice and without fearing to understand things that clash with their own customs, privileges, or beliefs. This state of mind is not common, but it is essential for right thinking; where it is absent, discussion is apt to become worse than useless. -Leo Tolstoy
